ScreenSteps Beta 2.0.3

Just wanted to let you know that we have released a public beta of version 2.0.3 of ScreenSteps for Mac and Windows. If you would like to try out the latest features and provide feedback and bug reports you can download the installers at the following urls:

Some of the highlights:

  • Lesson Palette for dragging lessons onto sections in a topic
  • Duplicate lessons
  • Duplicate topics
  • Reveal Library folder
  • Open recent libraries
  • Export topics and tags as packages - great for moving lessons between libraries
  • Global hot key for screen capture on Mac OS X.

    If I install ScreenSteps 2.0.3b61 will it update my ScreenSteps Pro 2.0.2 or replace it with an unregistered version?

    Installing 2.0.3 beta will replace your version 2.0.2 unless you specifically back it up. It does not overwrite your preferences though so your registration key will remain intact. All of the betas we send out have an expiration date by which you would need to install the released version. You never need to re-register the program though. It will always remain registered. This is of course assuming that you have registered version 2.0.2.
